As I was walking a dog, the dog decided to do a full body shake. Little did i know that the leash would unclip. Luckily I was able to catch the dog before he noticed he was free. We decided to start using a safety on our walks incase this happened again... Which it did. This time, the safety was attached to the leash and a regular collar (we walked with a prong collar), which put me at ease that I wouldn't be chasing a dog down a busy street. You never know when a leash or collar could fail, or if your dog is going to slip out of a harness or collar. Having this back up on is just a piece of mind knowing if something was to fail you are still connected to your dog!!!!!! Safeties can save lives!!!
